Required Equipment
- Basic Scuba Gear
- Primary and Backup Dive Lights: Ensure you have adequate lighting for the environment.
- Line and Reel for Navigation: Essential for safe cavern navigation.
- Single Cylinder with a Minimum Volume of 11.1 Liters/80 Cubic Feet or appropriate sidemount/twinset setup.
- DIN First Stage with Primary Regulator on a 2m/7ft Hose, backup regulator with neck bungee, and SPG.
- Buoyancy Compensator with Adequate Lift for the environment.
- Personal Safety Spool, cutting device, and directional/non-directional markers.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Certified scuba diver for a minimum of three months with at least 25 logged dives or twenty hours of underwater time beyond RAID OW20.
- RAID Deep 40 or RAID Explorer 30 or equivalent certifications if planned dives will exceed 18 meters (60 feet).
- Certified as a sidemount diver or twinset diver if using that configuration.
