RAID Cave Diving I

• Learn precise buoyancy and trim control for cave environments: Refine your buoyancy and trim to navigate through confined spaces without disturbing the environment. 
• Master navigation techniques, including the use of guideline systems: Gain proficiency in setting and following lines for safe navigation through cave systems. 
• Utilize advanced gas management strategies for cave dives: Learn critical gas management techniques to ensure safe exits from overhead environments. 
• Develop emergency procedures for lost line and lost diver scenarios: Practice essential safety protocols, including handling worst-case scenarios in a cave. 

Workshop: 

• In-depth dive planning and cave navigation strategies: Hands-on training focused on planning cave dives, gas management, and navigating complex cave systems. 

Confined Water Sessions: 

• Practice buoyancy, trim, and line work in a controlled environment: Refine your buoyancy control and line-handling techniques in confined water, preparing for real cave dives. 

Open Water Dives: 

• Execute cave dives while applying critical safety and navigation techniques: Put your training into practice by conducting real cave dives, focusing on safe navigation and emergency management. 

• Minimum age of 18 years. 
• Certified as a diver for at least 3 months. 
• Current Rescue Breathing, CPR Training, and Oxygen Provider Certificates. 
• Logged 50 hours underwater or 75 dives using open circuit. 
• Documented proof of prerequisite requirements must be presented to the Dive Centre for approval prior to any in-water training.
